  American Idiot
I'm loving the new Green Day. It's really brilliant. I was kind of weary of it from the beiginning. I was really disappointed by the Warning and I went into this thinking "If this sucks then I give up" (sort of the same feelings on the next Weezer album). But American Idiot is a really strong album. It's not like older Green Day, but it's not so different that it's alienating.

I haven't sat down with lyrics yet to see how the whole Rock Opera thing comes together, but some lyrics just stick out. The title "Jesus of Suburbia" inspired this new picture I made on paint which I plan on putting in my Christmas Card. The album is really cool. It looks like something I would draw.

Anyways, it's a really good album. I really wish I had tickets for the concert tonight. I didn't even know when tickets went on sale. I probably wouldn't have gotten tickets anyway (if anyone remember the Blink incident), but I would have like to have tried. They're only doing four of these complete Rock Opera shows and it would have been cool to have gone.

Last note on the album - It's really cool that they mention Toronto in the album. "From Chicago to Toronto she's the one they call whasername. She's the symbol of resistance. And she's holding on my heart like a hand grenade". I love that line.

So... umm... yea... blogs are never posting. What's up with dat?
